World Emoji Day is being celebrated around the world every July 17 since 2014
Sometimes we Filipinos are fond of using emoticons in conveying our message through different platforms may it be on SMS, Online Chat, and even in hand-written letters(Yes, I am guilty to this). With the technology ever evolving from just letter in our emoticons such as “xD” or “XD” (well those are my favorite emoticons that is still compatible to all messaging platforms)

Why is World Emoji Day on July 17?
