Unboxing the Asus Zenfone Max M1

After unboxing the phone, we came across a silicone case included in the box that has been given for protection purposes. After lifting the case, You’ll find the gorgeous Zenfone Max M1 colored in Deepsea black sleeping there. Further, you’ll find a high quality USB to Micro USB cable, Travel Adapter and an earphone.

Let’s talk about the design/build quality
Zenfone Max M1 has a metal-plastic combo build. The phone itself is aesthetically pleasing in the eye even though. It features a 5.5-inch 16:10 bezel-less screen that gives the phone a more premium look. It comes with a speaker grill and charging slot located at the bottom of the device. On the sides, you’ll see the power button, volume rockers, microphone and the sim tray, that fit in smoothly and give the phone a rather sleek feeling. It also features a dual camera at the back and also a fingerprint sensor.

Zenfone Max M1 Specifications

The Zenfone Max M1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/430 CPU coupled with Adreno 308/505 GPU. The unit that we got for the review comes with a 3gb ram and 32gb storage. The phone packs a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS Display with 1440×720 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass display. Handset weight is 150 grams with a 4000 mah battery. Like the other Zenfone devices, it also comes with a triple slots. You can use 2 nano sims and a micro sd card all together. The micro sd card slot supports up to 2TB micro SD card. It also packs with a dual 13MP f/2.0 + 8MP 120-degree wide-angle rear cameras at the back w/ LED Flash and an 13MP Front camera w/ softlight LED Flash.

Other features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX and Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n). There is LED notification and OTG is supported, you can also use this Zenfone Max M1 to charge other devices.
